*Make sure you train the member for Security/Trainer before you train them in Operations* (Take the member to the Operations+ training room; 3rd tele to the right in base, and the 3rd tele in the Hallway)
Hello and welcome to your Operations+ training. I will be your trainer for today. Now that you are a higher rank, you are a role model to the lower ranks. You are expected to Abide by our rules with understanding as to what the consequences are that come with breaking them. You can now enter through the Operations group gate in the lobby to get to base. This means you no longer have to enter through the front desks and security. This training will cover the basics of your OP+ roles and duties. There will be a small quiz at the end, so feel free to take notes if you wish.
Aside from advertising, security and training, you can now promote anyone that is in a lower division than you. You are not allowed to promote anyone in/to your division. (e.g you are not allowed to promote anyone to or above Overseer I if you're in Operations) Always check first if the member you are promoting is not in the same division as you. You can find our full rank list at hdaofficial|com Any questions?
When you promote, you’re supposed to update their existing promotion log To do this, go to the Promotion Logs board on the forums, Type the member's username into the search bar on the upper right side of the page, And click on the thread subjected “Their Username - Promotion Log”. When logging promotions, you must make sure you use the correct format. The format is the same as when you train a recruit: Previous Rank, New Rank [TAG], Date & Time, Reason, and Your Rank. Please remember to always use this format, as it will cause problems with other promotions And at Security if the member is below Operations and wishes to be let in. If you don't log promotions the way you were trained to log them, you will be sanctioned accordingly. If you can't find someone's promotion log, clarify with an IA member at the Help Desk if they Actually work here, before creating a new promotion log for the member. It's possible that their promoter forgot to make a log, purchased a rank, or transferred. But it's also possible that they are a troll who somehow got into base. Any questions?
If you promote someone to another division, you should train them too. Since training/security is the same level of division, when you promote a person From security to operations rank, you must train them for both training and operations. The same applies when promoting a trainer member to operations. However, you may only start promoting/training people for Operations+ when you've reached Management. Any questions?
When you get in the respective training room, ask them to request the division badge. After the training, ask if there are any BAs (Badge Admins) in base who can accept their badge. If there are none, make a Badge Request on forums (under Help & Support section), And follow the instructions and format under Badge Request(s) Format. If the Security/Trainer member still doesn’t have the badge, ask them to FTF first until it gets accepted. Any questions?
Always remember to log every promotion right away. If you trained a member to a new division, post another log stating that the member finished training. Do you understand the difference of logging in a training for a recruit and a promotion? If you or the trainee have to leave at some point during the training, Please create a Pending Training Log for them under 'Help & Support’ on the forums, Following the given Pending Training Log format. Then, as per instructions, update their Promotion log saying that they are “Pending Training” and provide the link to their pending training log. Any questions?
We encourage you to promote as much as possible, but please be mindful in following our guidelines when promoting; especially the promotion times. The list of promotion time guidelines can be found under ‘2 - Promotion Policy’ on the Code of Conduct, At hdaofficial|com > Important Links > Code of Conduct. The direct link is; hdaofficial|com/code-of-conduct and I highly recommend taking a look at it. Let me also introduce you to something we call Hovering. Hovering is possible in 2 different scenarios: Promotion and Training. Hovering in Promotion is when you F&C a member when it is below intended the Promotion Time, Say “F&C when done” when the member you want to promote is busy at their station, And when you stand near a member’s station waiting until they've reached their promotion time guideline. Hovering in Training is when you steal in training a recruit even though you are not FT. This includes standing in FT while it’s full and asking if you can train the next recruit, And waiting in empty training rooms for a recruit to come in so you can jump in and begin training. Both can lead to a Warning or Demotion if you continue to do it despite being told by HRs. Any questions?
More on the Code of Conduct, it contains a list of our rules, regulations, and guidelines That we expect you to follow. You can find policies on promotions, trainings, basic rules, disciplinary action, etc. Once again, you can find the Code of Conduct under 'Important Links’ at hdaofficial|com. Any questions?
All Operations+ members are required to request for their pay badge to be accepted on the forums. Please go to officialhda.boards.net and under "General" you will see "Pay Badge Requests”. Click it, then scroll down to find the thread “New Pay Badge Requirements / How To: Request for Pay Badge!” This post will tell you the instructions and your pay badge requirements. Please read them after the training. Any questions?
As you have reached Operations+, you are now eligible to apply for special units such as Events Team. When you've reached Management+, you are eligible to apply for External Affairs, Internal Affairs, Transfer Team, and Financial Affairs if applications are open. Please check the rank list on our website (hdaofficial|com) to know who the directors are, And you may contact them to find out how to apply for the division you want. E.g contact the Director of Events to find out how to apply for the Events Team. Any questions?
Operations+ members are allowed to wear anything that they desire; however, there are a few rules. 1: DO NOT clone other members. This means wearing the exact same clothes as or Dressing incredibly similar (with little difference) to another member. However, you may twin with another member, meaning dressing similar to another member but having a clear difference. E.g a male and female version of one outfit between two people.
2: You are NOT allowed to wear Lower Ranked uniforms - just to avoid confusion.
3: You MUST have on an appropriate shirt and pants at all times.
4: Your face must be visible at all times, so please do not wear masks. Only 4iC+ may wear masks.
Any questions?
