I am always looking for people to write content for this blog, and you can be one of them! We do it everyday on Habbo, so why not write something that will stick a bit longer. Writing for the blog will mean you will get boys/girls (whatever your preference), underwear thrown at you (if that is your thing) and you will also be rich*!
'But Maaaam Vibrational what should I write about?!" I hear you all scream, well, there are a whole bunch of topic this blog covers, including (but not limited to): Events General HDA news Staff Changes Major rule changes, eg. pay or CoC changes General Habbo news eg. new furni line etc. Funny satirical stuff Works of fiction related to HDA or Habbo Image galleries or screenshots Art related to Habbo or HDA Members of HDA News and information related to our alliances Now, before you get started, here are a few things to remember: Please do not worry about spelling or grammar, I am here to try and fix as much as possible, having said this, please try and avoid using an excessive amount of emojis, slang and, as the kids say these days, 'text speak'. You do not have to commit to any amount of posts every week/month. There is no official 'News Team' at this time, so if you only want to write one article that is totally fine. If you want to write several, that is great too! If you say you want to cover a story, like an event or something going on in Habbo, please follow through, if you say you will write an article then don't do it then we miss out on hearing about the event on the blog later. You must be Operations+ and be a member of HDA for at least two weeks before writing articles for the HDA blog.

I spent some time with Shaquera, AKA Shaytoobad to talk about psychology, HDA and poetry. Vibrational: Tell me about yourself Shaquera
Shaquera: Well, my name is Shaquera. I am from the United States. I am 21 years old. I have played habbo since I was a little girl, but of course I took a break from it, I am a college student studying psychology. Online: I am pretty much always at HDA! I don't do anything but that.. hda is my life to be honest... and it also helps me with real life situations. I want to make sure that everything at HDA is going great.. my main focus is to make everyone happy: although I may make mistakes here and there I have learned from all of them. Offline: I go to school , hang with friends and family. Write poetry, and play video a games. I may look like a girly girl, but there's some boy in me V: Why did you choose to study psychology? S: Well facing anxiety and depression my self, I thought this major would be good to study. Not only can I help myself mentally! I can also help other young people that struggle with the same issues I have and much more. I also love studying a humans mind to help determine why someone may act the way that they do. To others they may think strangely of that person. But to me There so not strange at all. There someone who should be loved and helped V: What advice would you give to people who are members of HDA and suffering anxiety and depression right now? S: First I would ask a couple of questions to see why they are feeling that way. I would tell them to be strong because I know that isn't easy. I would encourage them daily with nice words, complainants, etc... and I will let them know they always have a friend in me V: What made you start playing Habbo when you were younger? S: Well, when I was younger I was going through things at school. So one day a close friend told me about habbo.. that's when I started playing it.. when I started habbo things we're still rough at school.. but I knew I had habbo to look forward to after homework so it made my days somewhat better V: What would you usually spend your time doing on Habbo? Got any nice memories from the original Habbo we all knew and loved? ;3 S: Honestly.. I loved the pool... lol.... I remember how the friends I met on there would always say let's go to the pool.. we would hang there .. or at the picnic. I could most deff say habbo has changed... back then habbo was tons of friendly people... but now some of the people have changed . V: What do you like about HDA? S: I love how everything is set up. Although we are strict with COC, rules, and commands we are still a agency that has fun.... HDA feels more like a family environment than any other agency. When I worked at UN, there were a lot of snobby people,. I also love how organized HDA is.. if we have any questions we are able to reach out on all different places the forums, the base, Skype, hdaofficial, etc... the events are also cool & lastly hda actually gives people chances even when they may not deserve them V: What are your favourite video games to play? S: Gta5 Call of duty although I suck Nba V: What is a mistake you have made but have learned from? What was the main lesson you took from the mistake? S: Trusting too many people too quick... I have learned that some people are out to destroy you, not everyone wants to see you grow.. they rather see you down. I took that sometimes it's best to either stay to yourself and to keep my guard high a little bit more V: What draws you to poetry and writing it? S: Well for me it is very hard to express myself through words. The best way for me to get out how I feel is writing it. I started writing poetry about 14 years old after my friend died in a car accident.. V: Wow, I’m sorry to hear that, has it been hard to deal with the loss of your friend? S: The first year was hard for me. But.... after a while, I had to learn that we all have our time to go & it was just his time On the 31st of December 2016, HDA & HIA gathered to celebrate the end of the new year and bring in 2017. Organised by the HDA events team in a specially designed room, the event went off without a hitch! Check out the gallery below for the pics. Thanks to Cerys & Diane for the images! |
