Walk us through your general scouting method.
Step one: Go to ClubNX! Step two: Find people who look new!! Step three: DO NOT start the conversation off with 'do you want a job'! Instead, start a normal conversation. Step four: Try to mention something about your job that'll make them question it. Step five (if they question it): Tell them about it and offer them a job, implying that it's a lot of fun and there is pay. Step five (if they don't question it): Try to slide it into the conversation again in a minute. Step six: Success!! What rooms do you prefer to scout in? I usually only scout in ClubNX as it's always super packed and a lot of newer people go there! I also occasionally scout in the Coffee House. What kind of people do you tend to approach to advertise to? Usually I look for newer members as they haven't yet discovered a job and are most likely in need of coins. I also try to find genuine and kind people who I feel would be good assets to the HDA community. How do you deal with trolls or hate when scouting? Hate is normally a problem as I usually whisper people I'm scouting. Trolls on the other hand are definitely a pain in the butt so I usually ignore them, as the attention is all they want and they're nothing if they don't have it. What kind of messages do you copy/paste to get your message across? As mentioned above, I usually whisper those I approach. Which features of HDA do you advertise the most? (Pay, friends, events etc?) All of the above! I start with a normal conversation, hey how's it going etc and move on to their interests, how long they've been on habbo etc. After a bit of chit chat I usually try to subtly slide in that I have a paying job with amazing friends, and a lot of the time they ask about it and are interested. Were you always a good scout? Absolutely not!! I was a TERRIBLE scout not too long ago tbh. I was no success after hours of scouting but a friend helped me out with some of his advice and I've been getting recruits more and more every week! Share a funny scouting story you have experienced while scouting. Omgggg ok one time I was scouting, and I started with the normal chit chat which later turned into sorta a 21 questions game after he specified he wasn't interested in the job. He asked to go back to one of our rooms as it was crowded in ClubNX so we went to his room, asked me to make it look nicer, so I did. After that, he asked me to take off the mask I was wearing, then he came up in front of me (as if I called F&C), and started ROLEPLAYING!! He LEGIT was like 'leans into your face' expecting to 'kiss' me? I was like uhm?? Then he was like I wanted to kiss you. I was actually like 'uhm, you mean my pixel?' I was sooo confused because I don't understand roleplaying! He later asked me to be his gf and I was like I DONT KNOW YOU!! Ugh it was just weird but super funny to look back on!! Hope this is everything you were looking for! Anything to help the HDA family xx

What rooms do you prefer to scout in?
Coffee House, Picnic, Theater What kind of people do you tend to approach to advertise to? Newly registered Habbos. They are most easy to recruit. How do you deal with trolls or hate when scouting? I wish them a nice day and keep doing my job. What kind of messages do you copy/paste to get your message across? "Would you like to earn 4-50 credits daily by joining our Agency?" Usually all of them scream "YES, YES I WANT CREDITS" Which features of HDA do you advertise the most? (Pay, friends, events etc?) Pay. Sadly, but it is the only thing Habbos care about nowadays. Were you always a good scout? No. At first I really sucked at it. But after trying different methods over and over again I came up with a perfect formula which I mentioned earlier. Tell us a funny scouting story The funniest scout story I ever heard was told by one of your respected co-workers: he went to a room named "DONATE FURNI IM POOR" or smth like that. He offered the guy a job at our agency to get paid and stop donating. The reply was just great: "PFFF... I DON'T NEED YOUR STUPID AGENCY, I'M TOO RICH FOR THAT". And after that he banned the guy from the room... Walk us through your general scouting method.
I scout in Club NX - that's the scouting hotspot!! What rooms do you prefer to scout in? I prefer to scout in public rooms because this is normally where there is people who are new to habbo and are interested in joining an agency and getting involved. What kind of people do you tend to approach to advertise to? To be honest, I usually approach girls because in my experience, they tend to be more friendly and open to trying something new. I also choose people who are new to habbo and may not be in an agency already, check their achievement score! Pick people with one less than 500. How do you deal with trolls or hate when scouting? When I get hate when scouting, which is pretty common tbh lol, I just ignore them or kill them with kindness!! What kind of messages do you copy/paste to get your message across? My typical scouting message that i'd spam in club nx in bright pink chat would be: ''Would you like a daily paying job at the HDA? Pays 3x daily & make friends? ADD ME!! <3'' Which features of HDA do you advertise the most? (Pay, friends, events etc?) I think the main thing people are interested is pay but people want to make friends too don't we all? Were you always a good scout? I have always been pretty good at and enjoyed scouting Share a funny scouting story you have experienced while scouting. I haven't really had any funny stories just people asking for kik and snapchat everytime loll... thirsty ppl everywhere I always get asked about scouting, it is the one thing at HDA most people find to be a challenge, but it is still a crucial part of HDA life, it helps us grow and bring in new people to our fantastic agency, so with that, I decided to start a new series - Scouting Advice! Every so often I'll post interviews with successful scouters in HDA and ask them a whole bunch of questions about their scouting technique. Since I consider myself to be quite a badass scouter, I thought I'd interview myself first (no this does not make me crazy, I am typing my answers, not talking to myself!) If you consider yourself a badass scouter, get in touch with me, Vibrational, and I'll interview you. Walk us through your general scouting method. Well, I have a lot, I cycle through different methods depending on how successful one is, if the first method doesn't work I move onto the next and so on. My methods are as follows: The Awkward Barge in This is always fun because you can accidentally walk in on all sorts of awkward situations. Go to the navigator and scroll to the bottom of the room list, with 2- 4 people in them. Walk in and post an ad, for example I use: Hello, I'm lana & I'm looking for people to work at a high paid job, earn 4+Creds/Day. Anyone Interested? This then prompts people to respond. If they say yes, great, I take them to base. If they say no, I ask why. I push them to explain why they don't want to do it and argue why that doesn't matter. The Spam Whisper Instead of spamming busy rooms and risk getting muted, I whisper to people in the room, something like: HI! I'm just telling people about this amazing job opportunity, if you are interested, add me! This prompts people to add you if they are interested. I then message them after they add me. The Flirt I get my pixel tits out and flirt, sometimes its the "oh I don't date anyone that doesn't work at HDA!" or maybe "HDA Men are sexier!" this is probably the least effective in getting people in, but if you drop "I only find people who have HC sexy" and then say "Oh I know how you can get HC for free.. Join HDA and get Free credits!" then you usually get some pretty solid recruits in that way. The Random Add Randomly add people in rooms, tell them how great HDA is, they join, they get credits and promos and all the things, you get a few points to the bonus pay badge, win win! There isn't too much else to this one... What rooms do you prefer to scout in? I like rooms that already have a role play element to it but don't pay its members, for example: the hospital, schools, cafes and restaurants. I also like smaller rooms with 2-4 people in it as I said above. Giveaways are also a good one because you can approach people and say "I know how you can get reliable income of credits for free!" and people are usually interested in giving it a go. What kind of people do you tend to approach to advertise to? I approach everyone except for the HC Hipsters, the ones that dress kinda differently and think they are too cool for school, I know none of those will even bother with it and will be totally dismissive of you, cause I was one of them, so yeah I steer clear of those types of people. How do you deal with trolls or hate when scouting? I tend to ignore most of them. If i'm in a room with 2 people I will call them out, "no need to be rude I'm trying to help people!" but yeah, i just ignore them. They just don't know what they are missing out on! Which features of HDA do you advertise the most? (Pay, friends, events etc?) All of the above. If pay doesn't appeal to people, which it doesn't for a lot of people, I tell them how many great events, giveaways and parties we host and how many new friends they will make! Were you always a good scout? NO WAY! I had to practice a lot with scouting. I kept at it and it and found techniques that work for me. Share a funny scouting story you have experienced while scouting. I HAVE SO MANY!!! I always run into people who are having cybersex which is pretty funny, like this one: Or i'll awkwardly run into people I know! I won't tell you what I caught these three doing in the bathroom ;) There you go! I hope this helped you future scouting technique. Keep working at it, and I could be interviewing you as a 'badass scout'!

I hope to achieve RR & BA so that it will relieve a bit of stress and pressure on other RR/BA's when there are Trolls, people needing badges and when pay lines need to come out. I hope to be a role model to all ranks, showing them the best way to be a role model to others. Cerys - XxCerysCecexX - new Vice President I'm most excited to show how I can perform in other areas of HDA! I've really enjoyed my time in BoD. Being Head Director was a really enjoyable rank and I loved hosting the weekly meetings. But all good things must come to an end! I'm so happy that I was given the rank of Vice President. It's a completely new division to me but I'm excited to try new things. I hope to make a big difference to HDA as I hope that i'll have a bigger say in how HDA is run now that i'm a higher rank. I'd like to thank Tom, Emma, Lana, Rianna and Matt especially for being so supportive and kind to me during my time in BoD as well. With my new rank, I'm going to make sure I'm more active than ever and being a helping hand to anyone that needs it #LOVEHDA Shaquera - Shaytoobad - new Assistant Director I am honestly excited about my rank. I have worked extremely hard for it. I was also ready to do new and challenging things. I hope to achieve making not just my rank better but the directors as a whole so we can make the other ICs better as well as the lower rank! I will also have to be a even better role model. My hopes and dreams are not even about me but to see some of the people I love and admire like Sam, junior, and Jeremy styles all have director positions soon! Love you HDA! There you have it! A big congratulations to everyone who was promoted last night, you all worked very hard for it and totally deserved it! |
