As mentioned in the "Diversity & Unity" blog post, we are allowing members of HDA to submit anonymous (or identified) stories to share about their past experiences! These stories will be reviewed and posted altogether in one blog every Saturday of this month only. These stories can be about your experience at a pride parade, interacting with someone with traits you never thought you'd meet, something funny that happened to you and/or a few others at HDA, etc. Interested in submitting your own story? Click here! #1 - By TravisWolf One time I was training a recruit, and everything was running smoothly. Towards the end when I was about to send him off to base, he suddenly seems to change his name identical to mine. He changed his goofy name from SquidS or something to TravisWoIf (capital i instead of l). He played it off saying I was glitching out. *breathes in* *breathes out* I just caught him out straight up. The guy said he “liked my name” and that’s believable so I said yeah its calm. Jk we kicked him out. #2 - By Bisexual Nerd Coming out to one of my closest friends as bisexual was one of the most memorable things I have ever done. She was so supportive of me and she respected me a lot and it really made me happy. Because of her religion, I thought she would be disgusted by the idea of homosexuality (etc.) but she wasn't! To this day I thank her for being in my life and just being there for me in general, cos she's honestly amazing. This series will only be featured during this month, so join in on the exclusive!

Favourites Food: there is a big competition on this category, there are a lot of foods I love, I like and my favourite. I am a guy that eats a lot ya know but for this question I’m gonna say its Chicken Curry - every time I go to eateries I look for it 1st. Place: Okay I haven’t gone to this place yet, but I have seen lots of pictures and I just love the Scenery, I’d love to go to Maldives and live on those houses in water Music: Eh, I don’t really favourite any music, or any genre, I listen to every kind and I love listening to music. depends on the mood tho Hobby: other than Habbo? haha reading manga. watching anime, reading light novels, gaming!! but not much now since I am working… Games: I played and Competed in lots of Game that includes: Dota2, LoL, Ragnarok Clan Wars, etc, but my favourite game will always be CSGO! Even the older version of CS 1.4 - I been actively competing with tournaments, I’ve always been active with the CS scene but it’s slowly fading away now, I have responsibilities now. What did you expect upon coming into HDA?
I didn’t really expect much, I just came back Habbo that time and wanted to join an agency, found HDA then poof Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank you are at? I have learned and served a lot. From a silent management+ member to becoming more social as new EA member and pursued more to be part of IA, pushed even more to 4iC Trials getting Head of EA, during that time i helped lots of people, became friends with more iCs, I felt accomplished already then I got DoEA, was shocked at first but it is a big responsibility, I’ve managed it, introduced new programs, revised all systems innit, I already felt content as DoEA its an important role but I got promoted to AD which I didn’t know, has bigger shoes to fill. It was really tiring as an AD and I’m the only active on my batch. Sooner I became busier and I needed more time irl work, I declined but I’m still active, I decided I can’t continue much more but Sammy looked for a rep, its seems more chill than EC or SC or AD. I applied for it. But I was used to hard tasks, I still wanted the challenge even I’m turning busy irl, Sammy gave me the tasks I needed What makes you come online to work in HDA? Friends, Tasks and Her. Tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. My promotion to DoEA, It kept the fire burning in me and makes the fire bigger Tell me about a time you faced a conflict while working as part of a team. I’m a solo worker but I coordinate what I do with the team. No conflicts yet What are your strengths and weakness? You use this against me? I refuse to answer Where do you see yourself in the year of 2018 at HDA? Legend ;( If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who it would be and why Bagel4 he was my first director, EA was my first team. Alongside with Mariah who is HoEA before, they taught me a lot about HAD What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA? Cam is always right hahahaha. Love that guy It's June, and that means it's the well-known Pride Month! Where millions of people around the world celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Don't know what LGBTQ+ is? Well, it stands for: The thing I like about Pride Month is that it's a special time for everyone to come together to support and glorify those in the LGBTQ+ community who have been fighting for their right to live in harmony without being judged based on human history and religious beliefs. For years, millions of people have been bullied or harassed for being homosexual, transgender, etc. It still happens today. Pride Month is a time for all community members and supporters to stand with pride against all of the negativity that society brought upon them. But I'm not going to ramble on about Pride Month for long, because this post isn't even all about that. The title: diversity. What is it? diverse HDA is a place with all sorts of people with different nationalities, religious beliefs, history, personalities, preferences, and much more. We try our best to maintain a peaceful environment where we support each other’s differences instead of bringing each other down with backlash and drama. If you feel harassed, bullied or discriminated (in HDA, online or offline), feel free to tell someone! There are thousands of people here at HDA who can help you go through your toughest times and provide you with support. What is amazing is that out of all this diversity within HDA, we’re all brought together by our differences and similarities and we support each other. Always looking to interact with co-workers and other agencies, HDA members continue to work together in harmony! Cooperation is incredibly important in a group or organization, and it's beneficial to the work that the organization aims to produce. Applying that theorem to HDA, our team work helps us continue to build a stronger Habbo agency and rise up the charts. At the end of the day, we'd like you to be respectful of each other’s differences. Want to show your support? Here are a few HDA-linked support/awareness/movement groups you can join! You can find all of these badges by clicking here to go to the room OR searching “HDA Diversity & Unity Badges” by ari.the.meme in the hotel navigator. Thanks for reading! <3 - ari.the.meme Dear readers,
Its important for everyone to be heard, and the Blog Squad would love to hear from you! If you have a story you’d like to share about yourself (e.g your experience at a Pride Parade or your experience with a support group), submit your story to tinyurl.com/HDA-Stories. All submissions will be posted in a blog post every Saturday for this month only, so keep your submissions coming! Hey Guys! Today I interviewed the most recent WoTW, Coklatz & .RonXD. I did a quick interview with them both to talk about their hard work in HDA! How long have you worked in HDA? Coklatz: I started working in HDA since April last year I believe. I started coming back to HDA this May. How did you join HDA? Coklatz: I got scouted to come to HDA by an Advertiser. How did you feel when you got WoTW? Coklatz: I felt excited and surprised when I got WoTW. It was so unexpected because I’m literally just doing my job. What do you have to say to everyone about you getting WoTW? Coklatz: Just be kind, be active and do your job honestly :D How long have you been in HDA?
I have been working in HDA for 1 month and 3 weeks, since I joined May 13 (Sunday) 2018. What made you join HDA? I joined HDA because i want to get a new experience, new friends, new challenges and of course new dramas that will come to me, so i chose HDA. 3) How did you feel when you got WoTW? Well to be honest, I really want to achieve the WoTW ever since I joined different agencies and then it was so very exciting because there's a lot of workers in HDA who are working very hard even though it's for fun and uhmm yeah I was really happy that I've been nominated as WoTW it really feels amazing, and of course it is my first time. 4) What message do you have to say to everyone? Well uhmm for everybody, my deepest thanks to all Filipino workers in HDA. Because of that I made a new family and got a new friends of course and also they are all in there supporting one another and helping one another, and also my deepest thanks for the HDA members too though everyone is a family so yeah, that's all! What did you expect upon coming into HDA?
HDA has been the longest agency I've ever worked at. It is by far one of the best agencies I know, and I've created so many memories here that bound me to keep going further in HDA. Going through the ranks how do you feel now at the rank you are at? I honestly didn't think I'd get this far, at all. I had thought I would have gone legend by now, but I found a way to juggle my school work and Habbo at the same time without any of it interfering with each other What makes you come online to work in HDA? I guess I'm addicted to this agency. I spend countless hours in base, and spending time with my friends that I've known since the day I joined. This isn't just a game for me; I treat this like my own family. Even though most of my friends are far across the world from me, it feels like they're right next to me. It's a place where I can laugh with others and make new friends. Tell us a small story about something that is important to you that happen in HDA. It's been a year and 2 months since I joined HDA. I wouldn't say I was the best worker at times. I remembered in the beginning, I would never fill stations EVER. I'd just stand in base and idle so many times that the founders had to tell me off and constantly tell me to FTF. I think I drove them crazy at some points. I'm not the best at making good friends, and I kinda am a bit of a troublemaker at times. I get into so much trouble and drama because I'm just THAT DRAMATIC. I slowly started to pull myself together and become a better person in general. I didn't want to be seen as a bad person. It took me a very long time to follow through with this plan. And I'm hoping it stays this way What are your strengths and weakness? Personally, I believe I have more weaknesses than strengths. I'm dedicated to HDA, I'm determined to put my absolute best towards my work, I try to make people laugh or smile when they need a friend. However, I tend to do my own things sometimes and get carried away with it. I sometimes lose my focus, because I get distracted very easily. The biggest thing I need to work on are my mood swings. It's one of the biggest issues I struggle with, and it's something that's taken me years to try and control it but sometimes it just happens and it's hard to take it back. Where do you see yourself in the new year of 2018 at HDA? I see myself working harder and doing more for HDA, as well as making sure activity in base are organized and dealt with quicker If you had to give a shout out to one member that you have known since you been here at HDA who it would be and why I would like to thank toni0390 for being there for me every step of the way and always having my back. She's been with me ever since I came to HDA, we've shed tears together, we've had our ups and downs, we've even wanted to give up and quit. But she was there for me when I needed someone, and she's helped me get through the struggles I faced in my life. She's believed in me right from the start and taught me to believe in myself even if no one believes in me. So, I'd like to thank her for everything she's done for me. I couldn't have done it without you <3 What is one of the most useful things that you have learned from HDA? It's that no matter what happens in HDA, or in real life, you'll always have that one person you can count on and you know they're looking out for you. Whether it's an acquaintance, friend, close friend, even a best friend, you'll always be able to turn to them in your time of need. Start building friendships and sharing memories because those are things you want to hold on forever. |
