I sat down, literally, with Diane, to talk about the recent 5k members event celebration. She built a beautiful room for the occasion so I thought I would give you guys screenshots of our interview. Click on the images below (clicking at the top left and going left to right) read through our chat, which includes the details of what happened on the day and what is coming up next for HDA! (Credit goes to @hia_Habbo for the last four screenshots of the actual event!)

I'm looking for people to write or contribute to writing for the HDA blog. You can choose to write something on a continuing basis, like a series of post done over a few weeks or months, or just a one off. You can write about anything, as long as it is HDA related. Items to be published include:
This week I interviewed Caity, worker of the week this week. We talked about all sorts of stuff, from cheese to hand items.
Vibrational(V): What do you like about HDA? Caity(C): The HDA workers are my favourite, great banter with everyone and the whole set up, as in the wired and divisions etc. V: What is your favourite thing to do at HDA? C: That's a tough question. I like talking to everyone, enforcing rules and training the most. V: What is your perfect pizza? (if you don’t like pizza, what is your favourite pasta?) C: Ham and cheese, extra cheese with a cheesy crust. V: soooo light on the cheese yeah? C: Yes, too much ham V: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Why? C:I am faced with this question every day. I'm stuck between invisibility and mind reading. If I was invisible I could hear people's conversations without them knowing or play tricks. On the other hand I could read their mind and see what they really think when they talk to me or others. V: The struggle is real. C: It's tough. V: What is the longest time you have gone without sleep? C: Without sleep omg.... probably like 48 hours. Was a few years ago when sleep never affected my ability xD V: Do you or have you ever played a musical instrument? C: I used to play recorder 😂 who hasn't. But I also played xylophone, learnt one song on it. Also did drums and singing with a band in school one time. Never said I was good though xD V: What is your favourite hand item and why? C: handitem69 which looks like a green gumball. Because I created a song to go with it; "my neck, my back, lick my handitem69 just like that"
Channelling my inner millennial I thought I would start off a series of "listicles" inspired by buzzfeed, complete with gifs and tips on how to navigate the difficult world of scouting. This first topic is very near and dear to my heart, I love scouting but sometimes the challenges are tough, if you don't scout because of one or all of these reasons don't feel bad, just try and help the scouts around you, give them some words of encouragement, pat them on the back, it's hard out here for a scout.
1. Accidentally interrupting someone having cybersex
I mean, not much you can really do in this sitch, I once accidentally went into a room and interrupted them, but I don't think the girl was feeling it and jumped up from the bed half "naked" and was super keen to join! So really, while awkward it can be a good scouting opportunity if they aren't "satisfied"
2. Copping abuse
This is always a big problem all scouts face, mainly because people assume you are trying to scam them, little do they know how great HDA is and the fun community we have formed! When you are confronted with abuse don't stoop to their level, kill them with kindness! Explain to them you don't want any of their personal details, like, ever and they should give HDA a shot! If they aren't happy after 24 hours they can leave, what do they have to lose? I also say if they think I'm scamming after spending some time with us they can report me (you can't be reported if you don't talk to them again, if you do chances are they stuck around base and are actually a member, therefore is happy with HDA and won't report you (hopefully)
3. Working with noobs
Everyone started somewhere. Usually if a noob is struggling it is because 1. English isn't their first language or 2. you aren't being clear enough or slow enough in your instructions. So when trying to get someone new to join try and go slow and be patient, hopefully they will get the hang of it, otherwise there is always the IR rank.
4. getting someone into base and they lagg so much they leave
Unfortunately there are many reasons why people leave as soon as they get into base, it could be a variety of reasons. I know first hand that base takes *ages* to load when using a phone or an iPad so they might leave out of frustration when the room doesn't load, they might not like how busy base can be and leave because it is so chaotic. If you really believe in the potential recruit try and find out why they left, it could be something really easy to fix. You could even offer to get their badge and motto sorted outside of base so they aren't lagging through the difficult and sometimes confusing process.
5. successfully getting someone into base and they don't want to leave other agency badges
Again, there are so. many. reasons. why people leave during the recruit process. Unfortunately you often can't do much about people who leave because they want to keep their badges. If the agency isn't an alliance, I recommend trying to find out information about their agency, maybe they pay less than us, maybe there is something that annoys them about their current agency, all you can do is
6. full friend lists
I don't know about you but i'm constantly reaching a 1100 max, and it is basically impossible to manage your friends list without wanting to throw your iPad/Phone/Laptop across the room.
7. Struggling to find people during graveyard shifts
You guys know the time, there is certain pockets on Habbo where literally nobody is around, if they still had that little counter where it told you how many people are online it would probably read under 1000.
8. Non-english speakers
The language barrier is made 10 times harder on Habbo cause you can't use hand gestures or facial expressions to tell them whats going on! There is an english speaking Habbo for a reason.
9. People who "just want to have fun!"
The struggle is real, when you find someone who is kinda interested, but in the end decide HDA isn't for them, they just 'want to have fun!' these kinds of people are the hardest to convince to join HDA, but it isn't impossible, trying to explain how fun HDA is, how many events we hold and partys to attend, plus all the great friends people will make makes HDA one of the most fun places in Habbo!

I managed to screenshot the event for all to see The visit, organised by RenatoElBosNEW, a member of the Board of Elite at HIA said it was pretty spontaneous, and he just wanted to pass on the holiday spirit to HIA's favourite ally HDA. The look was inspired by Santa, RenatoElBosNEW desided to organise a visit when a whole group of HIA members started dressing the same, and thought HDA would like to see it.
Renny said he chose our agency because we "aren't bad people and you guys are our allies". He told me that HDA was the only alliance they visited, so we should totally feel privileged that we got this spontaneous visit from HIA! He says there may be other visits in the future, but we won't know until it happens. Well hello there, my name is Vibrational and I'll be your blog host for the next little while or so. This blog will be focused on HDA specific news, events and all sorts of other HDA related things. I'll start off this blog with a few recent HDA updates.
