by crezypillo The Habbo world, and specifically, the Habbo Defense Agency (HDA) caters and hosts different nationalities, each with their own personality and characteristics owing to their cultural identities, who express their pride in their national identity, help each other in times of need, and hang out and enjoy life together as one community. But these different nationalities form up one of the most united virtual reality communities in the Internet to date.
We have talked to some members who are part of the Filipino community here in HDA to ask them this question and to analyze the common thought in regards to this: “How does it feel to have fellow kababayans (countrymen) in HDA?” First off, we had Kaiser (-Desolator) with his thought: “[H]aving "kababayans" makes you feel more secured and less isolated since there are people that can understand you[.]” Next, Kim (kim_ashlhy) shares that having kababayans “feel[s] great cause we understand each other and we communicate and be friends to them.” Finally, KingOfHeartz tells, "[Having kababayans is g]reat because its great to have some fellow [F]ilipino[s] in the same agency and great friends also[.]" In general, having kababayans or countrymen within a Habbo agency like HDA, even in real life, has something to do with the Filipino virtue of bayanihan, the spirit of communal unity, work and cooperation to achieve a particular goal or purpose, which all should employ in their daily lives, that in spite of the differences, the diversities, the divisions, distance, we should have a sense of unity and cooperation. As a popular song would impart to us, “For together we stand, divided we fall.” Writer's Note: Thank you to everyone who read my first work for the Blog Squad. Hope you liked it and a lesson was imparted to you :) - Yuri
